Menu Link Blanks Out Upon Hover

  When you look at my website you’ll be able to see my main navigation bar/menu near the top of the page, however when you hover the mouse over ‘blog’ and then down to ‘personal’ (a drop-down option), the word ‘blog’ becomes completely blanked out above and you can’t see what it reads anymore.

  Can anyone how I can fix this issue? I really want to add more items to the drop-down menu under ‘blog’ but can’t have the new ones turning black when someone hovers over the links, like what’s happening now.
