Menu link to past posts not working

I recently changed my theme and added a few menu categories to my header. All of them link up to my past posts by assigned category (“About” “Gratitude” “Retirement” and “Photography”) except the one that was newly added to my category list (“Travel”). I went back and edited all my travel-related posts so that they include this new category, but they still don’t link. When I click on Travel in my header, it takes me to the travel page but doesn’t display any posts. I’ve tried everything I can think of but can’t find the problem.

The “Travel” menu item is linking to a static page instead of the category archive.
So it currently links to
instead of
https://retirementallychallenged.com/category/travel/
Please delete the current “Travel” menu item for the static page, then add a link to “Travel” listed under Categories in the customizer:

Thank you so much for your response. It makes total sense that the link isn’t going to the correct place. I’m afraid, though, that I may need a little more help with making that change… can you help me with where I go to delete the “menu item for the static page” and then where I find “Categories” in the customizer. I looked around based on your info, but couldn’t find what I’m looking for.
