Menu Navigation Widget not working

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello – I noticed last week that my menu drop down was not working on my phone – I just checked on a computer and it is not working either. I tried adding a navigation menu widget to the sidebar but it is still not clickable. Any advice?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi leslieforehand,

It looks like your site is currently displaying the only pages you have created, and you’ll need to create a menu (and perhaps some more pages) for the menu drop down to work!

Once you have a few more pages, try clicking My Sites to open the dashboard panel. Then click on Customize, and then Menus. There’ll be a button for “Create New Menu.” Click on that, name it anything you’d like (for example: top menu) and then click to make it your primary menu.

Now you can “Add Items” to build the menu as you like! You’ll select pages or posts to add just by clicking on them. In order for any of these to show up in a drop down, just drag that item to the right in order to indent it underneath its parent page. For example:

    Home
    >Page 1
    >Page 2

    Blog
    > Post 1
    > Post 2

These indented posts/pages will now be your drop down menu items. Please let me know if this helps, or if I can assist further!

Hi, thanks for your response! the website is:

    Home page

And there are menus and pages. If I use another theme, it works. For example, I bought this from Rara Themes, this is a PRO version, and when I load the free version the widgets in the sidebar work.

I’ve emailed Rara Themes but thought I’d try elsewhere as well.
