Menu on mobile is in the middle of header
-
Hello,
if you visit my site on desktop or tablet, the menu is fine. But on mobile, it’s suddenly changed form and sits in the middle of the header. I don’t mind that it’s changed form, however much I dislike it, but why would it ever set itself there? I’m asking how it can be fixed.
Thank you for your help,

Hi @yahyatrotzig, the menu has to turn into a button for mobile, and on this theme, it will be placed in the middle of the header’s background image. I see in your case, the background includes the logo and the menu goes right over the top of that.
To fix it, here’s what I recommend:
– Replace the header with just your black and white background.
– Add the logo (red text) as a PNG image with a transparent background. Then, when you go to a mobile view, the logo will resize properly and push the menu down below it.
Hoping that helps!

Hello again,
thank you for your suggestion. However, the logo forcefully resizes the image into a tiny thing which looks awful in every way. I’ve tried to fix that too but can’t seem to find a way to rezise the logo.

The appearance of the logo is controlled by the theme, but it can be modified with CSS: https://wordpress.com/support/custom-design/custom-css/
