Menu points set to home page? Not responding!

    I have created a custom menu consisting of six menu points. It is in the header sidebar. My problem is that when I am on the Home Page, only 4 points are responding when I click on them. The menu point one and the menu point two, do not respond at all and nothing happens when I click on them. However, when I am not on the Homepage but a content page like e.g. under menu point 4, where the general menu also appears on top before the post….. then menu point one and two do respond!!! This is super weird and I do not understand it.
