Hi there,
This support page provides you step-by-step instructions to set a menu for your site.
Custom Menus
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/As I have checked your theme is Orvis.
Orvis theme supports two locations for menus on your site.
If you want to make your menu show up at the top, please select “Primary Menu” as the location of your menu after creating a menu.
Hope this helps!
Thanks !!

Brilliant, thank you. I have one more query…do you know how to remove ‘related’ links. I have them at the bottom of each post linking to other posts but I don’t want that. Just my list of posts.
Thanks, Linda

I’ve just created categories that are showing on my top header menu which I’m happy with. Now, how would I assign each blog post to a specific category on the menu, so when I click on a certain category, it shows those specific blog posts? I’ve been trying to figure this out and I’m stuck :(
Thank you!
