menu question

  Hello!

  When we went to the Appearance menu and then to the Menus sub-menu, we arranged our menu tabs in the order we want them (from L to R: Who? Why? Connect with us Host a concert Tour Diary). We also changed the name of “Home” to “Tour Diary.”

  And then we click on Save Changes.

  But then when we go back to our blog, those changes are not reflected in how it looks…

  Please help!

  Hi Stephanie,

  I see your menu saved under Appearance > Menu in your dashboard. However, the menu still needs to be assigned to a theme location for it to appear on your blog. There are two ways you can do this:

  1. On the menu page, scroll below the menu and check the Main Menu box next to “Theme locations.” Then click the Save Menu button.
  2. At the top of the menu page, click the Manage Locations tab. In the dropdown menu next to Main Menu, select your custom menu. Then click the Save Changes button.

  Either one of these options will add your custom menu to your blog. You can find out more about this here: Custom Menus
