Menu tab not working as expected

  I have three sub items that show my post categories. I want the Parent tab to show all my chronological Posts. Initially (when I first access the page), they work fine; the chronological posts are there, when I click on Media, I get the posts categorized as Media, etc. But, when I return to Chronological Posts, I get a create post screen–not my 63 posts in chronological sequence. How do I fix this?
