Menu visibility for private pages

Hi,
I have a blog with several private pages available only to private users.
How can I make these pages visible in the menu only to these private users? If I include these pages in the main menu, the links are visible to everyone. If a anonymous user clicks, he gets a page not found error, but I would like to hide these pages from public visibility.

I don’t think it’s possible to make the menu items visible to some users without making it visible to all users, but you could create a page called “members only” that had links to the private pages. As long as you don’t need to keep the existence of the pages (or their titles) secret, you could write a short blurb at the top of the page explaining that the links below were only for private members.

I guess it doesn’t make any difference if I upgrade the site to Premium, right?

My apologies, I should have looked at your site more closely before making suggestions.
As for premium or other upgrades, I’m afraid that won’t work either.
I’m pretty sure the option you are using now is the best one, but I’ll mark this question for staff assistance, incase they have ideas that I haven’t thought of.

you could create a page called “members only” that had links to the private pages.
This would probably be the best option at this time.
