Menu vs. Content Problem

  It seems despite my greatest efforts at navigating my wordpress site. There seems to be a problem. I have a Blog page, a Bio page and Yoga page on my menu that all have the same blog post content. However, when I go to edit or preview these pages the content that I want is appearing accurately in those formats for those pages but will not publish as so. what is up wordpress?

  Hm, that’s odd! I’m looking at your site (sacredblisshealingarts.wordpress.com), and it looks like the URLS for the Blog, Bio, and Yoga links aren’t going to the pages you want. If I had to guess, I’d say this may be something you can fix in the Menus section.

  On your dashboard sidebar, under the Personalize section, click “Menus”, and for any of the aforementioned pages, click the pencil icon to the right. It should then reveal what it’s linking to (a page, a post, etc. You may have to click through the tabs to the left to see what it’s linking to). If it is not connecting to the right link, you can check the correct page, and then press OK and save.

  I have a similar problem. Making changes on the menus and pages that are not all showing at the top of the page. That is on my offthematyoga.net site.

  For instance, I created a custom link for the word blog but it is not showing up on the home page. Trying to connect my website and blog directly. How else can I do this or why is it not displaying?

  Hi @offthematyogablog, your site offthematyoga.net is not a WordPress.com site, but is a site that is hosted elsewhere and uses WordPress software from wordpress.org. Sites that use the software from wordpress.org have different features, documentation, and support. So unfortunately, support from wordpress.com will not apply to this question.
