Menu widget in sidebar shows only first blog

  I have the site menu also showing in a widget in a sidebar. However, when I click on it only one post shows and is accessible. The very first one. The top of the page menu shows all the blog posts, no problem. Is there something different about sidebar menus via widgets or am I missing something? Thanlks.
