Menu will not update (no way to clear cache?)

  Hi,

  I’m fairly new to WP, but I have done everything I can trying to figure out how to clear my cache. Every search about my menu not updating tells me it’s a cache problem, but I have the most basic free version of WP and no plugins, so I don’t see any way to clear the cache.

  To clarify, I can change my menu in the editing menu, but when I click save changes, it does not update. I noticed this a couple months ago when one of my menu items title suddenly changed to “untitled” and I cannot change it back.

  Hey there, typically we take care of the cache for you on free sites, and it should be updating. Can you get a screenshot of what you expect the menu to be?

  Hi, yeah so here is what I want it to say for each item. I even deleted the menu and it never went away so I remade it. It hasn’t updated at all with any of those changes. Is that what you were asking for?

  Ah, your screenshot indicates that your theme uses the Site Editor, according to the notice at the top of the Customizer panel. As such you’ll want to use the menu management within the Site Editor which is under Appearance > Editor (beta) instead! You’d be using a Navigation Block in particular.
