Menus

I’m trying to create a custom menu (new to blogging), but I cannot add more than one or two. Do I need to be a premium member or have a different theme? I’ve switched themes a few times and have not had any luck.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Buzzymoms,
Have you looked in the customize menu for the theme you selected? I was playing with some of the free themes last week and was definitely able to add more menu items. In my case I went to menus > primary and used the add item function to add menu items.
Note: you do need to have the pages created first so you can add them to the menu.

I have. It lets me add as many as I want, but only allows one link per header (does that make sense?).
So I can have a link to book reviews one place, and vacation pictures in another, but I cannot add any more than that. Its a bit frustrating. -
That doesn’t make sense to me– but I’m also new to WordPress. What theme are you using? I can look that up and it might help me understand your problem better.
I assume you want a layout like:
SITE TITLE
Book Reviews | Vacation Photos | About me | Plant Photos -
-

Okay, looking at the theme info for Rowling, this is definitely possible (it’s in the sample picture after all!)
Go to Customize theme, go to menus, and then select the menu you created for the area under your title (the one that has your book reviews).
Click that and you’ll see a list of items, likely you’ll only see the Book Reviews item.
Click the Add Items button. This should bring up a list of your pages.
From that you can select other items to include on the menu by clicking the plus icon next to the item name.
