MENUS

I’m having difficulty with me menu bars. Here’s what I’m looking for:
I want the menu on my homepage to list all of the different writing projects I am working on. When a viewer clicks on a specific project, it either (a) takes the viewer to a separate menu page, in which, the viewer may click on individual chapters for that project; or (b) produces a drop-down menu from the homepage, in which, those chapters are listed. Is there a way for me to do this?

Hi @esoniko! This is a great question you have and there are many possible solutions. At the moment your site is set to private – which is totally fine – but community members will not be able to take a look at it.
That said I believe the simplest way to achieve what you are looking for is to make a page for each project – acting as a table of contents for each work. These pages can then be added to your primary menu and you now have an awesome navigation that’s both easy to keep track of and easy for your users to navigate.
Here are some links that may help you with setting up your navigation as well:

Hello E.N.,
You can make use of the sub-menu, see here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#3-organize-your-menu-and-add-sub-menus-drop-down-menus.
Assuming that your individual chapters are posts, you can have something like this on your menu.
Projects (main menu item)
— Project A (sub menu item – category)
— Chapter 1 (sub menu item – posts)
— Chapter 2
— Project B
— Chapter 1
— Chapter 2Hope this helps.
