  Hi! I’m having a problem with creating menus. Each time I want to add a new item to my menu, it shows up in the preview within the customizer, but it doesn’t show up on the live site. It does this with every one of the several different themes I’ve tried. Please help!

  Try clearing cache from your browser, make the changes in the menu items, publish it again, and then see if it works.
