Menus and submenus

    When I created submenu items, I made the pages of my parent menu items ‘private’, in order to achieve that only the submenu pages would be accessible.
    When hovering over the parent menu items, the submenu items become visible. That’s OK. But it’s still possible to click on the parent menu. When doing so, a page is displayed with a message ‘not found’.
    Is it possible to customize it in a way that clicking on the parent menu doesn’t show anything but the submenu items?

    I changed the visibility of the parent pages back to ‘public’ and inserted URL’s to the submenu pages.
    Not what I really wanted, but better than the ‘private’ option.
