Menus versus categories when it comes to publishing posts.

    I’m new to all of this and am trying to setup up a usable site. I seem stuck on manipulating menus when it comes to posts and images. I created a post with an image that I’ve tried to publish under certain categories in my main menu. Although I can see the post, the actual image with post will not display when I click on it; what comes up is my static Home page.
