Already tried to reset my menu page. Message at bottom of sidebar/menu says: It looks like your Facebook URL is incorrectly configured. Please check it in your widget settings.
I have no idea what to do from here.
Thanks in advance. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I don’t see any Facebook widget in your sidebar, nor do I see the message you mention.
Are you trying to add the Facebook widget or are you trying to add social media icons to your sidebar? Note that the Facebook widget only works with Facebook pages, not with profiles: http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/#facebook-like-box
Your theme also allows you to include links to your social media profiles in the menu. Instructions to do that are here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/
If those aren’t the instructions you’re looking for, let us know, though it would help if you can provide more information on exactly what you want to do, as well as the Facebook URL you’re trying to use.

Thanks for the info. I think I resolved the problem for now by removing the social media links altogether, at least for now. I want to be sure I have 99% of my “internal mechanics” under control before I start full scale links interaction.
Am still confused about how the menus should look – my site allows for 2 and I’m not sure that I even have that part correct. For me, the best learning method is the do it method even if that often tries my patience and frustration tolerance to the limit.
If you feel like it you can point out some suggestions for understanding the menu set-up process. It might help lower my Advil expenses.
Thanks again,

There’s no right and wrong how the menus should look – it’s completely up to you how you want them to look. The second menu you can add is the social links one. Not all themes have that option.
That said, these should help you:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/The first is the support doc on custom menus. The second is an article that explains it much better than the support doc does, so start with that one.

Thanks again. Am working on it. Right now it's kind of a mish-mash but I will get there.
