  Hi, I setup a wordpress account a little while ago but then at the time deleted it. I am now wanting to setup the same username and use the same email. Every time I try to resetup it says that I cant use the same email as it is in use but when I try to find the account it wont let me saying it is the wrong domain. I could not find a section on your help page to help with this.

  Hi there,

  What username are you trying to regain access to? If you want to start over on your account with the same username, you should not delete it. Doing so does not free it for reuse, but rather purges it so that neither the owner nor anyone else can ever use it again.

  This can be reversed within 30 days of the account’s deletion, but after that time, there is no way to get the account back.

  I am trying to access thevulnerablevirago, I do think that is has been 30 days since I deactivated. I assume no way to get this back then from what you have said?

  That username was deleted on 18 May, so I’m afraid there’s no way to reactivate it any more.

  You should be able to create a new account with the same email address you’d used for that account, but the username is gone for good.
