  is it possible to merge accounts?

  Hi Darryn,

  it is not possible to merge accounts but if you only wish to use one, you can transfer the site created under the other to the account you wish to keep:

  https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  After you have moved everything, you can then close the unwanted account.
