merge one blog's url with another's content?
-
Hey All! I’m kind of digging myself into a hole and was hoping someone might be able to keep me from making any permanent mistakes…
Situation:
I have a blog that I really like the appearance of for my personal use (Site #1) though I don’t use it very often. I’ve purchased some of the upgrades on this one.Today, I started making a second blog to help promote a nonprofit organization that I am in the process of creating (Site #2). I then realized (after registering the url) that I would rather just clear my personal blog and use it for this new purpose.
That’s where I ran into some problems….
Questions:
-When I attempt to delete (Site #2) it says that I can never use that url again. Can I create a new username, transfer Site #1 to it, and change that url to the one I deleted with my previous username? I just want to make sure that my specific url won’t disappear for everyone if I delete it.-If that isn’t the solution … does anyone have any alternatives?
***Sorry if that is confusing, I tried to break it down as best I could.
Cheers!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh, and by the way, don’t delete or rename anything till we get this figured out for you.

I have a similar situation. I want to move posts from one blog site onto a new blog site because the content is more relevant on the second one, but I can’t seem to find a way of doing this (without deleting one fo the blogs – which I don’t want to do).

That’s easy. On Blog A, the blog whose content you want to take and add to Blog B, go to Tools->Export. Then on Blog B, Import.
