Merge Two Accounts

I have accidentally created two accounts. Is there a way for me to merge them?

There isn’t a way to merge multiple WordPress.com accounts but sites can be transferred from one to the other:
What are the usernames of the two accounts you need help with? And which one would you like to use as your main account?
Just let me know and I’ll be happy to look at your options.

I have one account with the username I want to use, and it’s connected to the correct site. But I have another account with the email address I’d like to use.
The account I’d like to keep has @imangelapangela as the username. I’d like this account to use my Gmail account, but I used that email on a different wordpress account I shouldn’t have made, and now I can’t update the email address on @imangelapangela because of course that email address is already in use. The email address I’d like to use with @imangelapangela is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

Log in as the angelakwhitehorn account, and update that account’s email to something different.
Gmail has a built-in alias feature, where if your email is name@gmail…, you can use na.me@gmail…, name+alias1@gmail…, name+alias2@gmail…, etc. All these emails will be seen as the same by Gmail, but our system sees them as different, so essentially it means you can create multiple aliases for different WordPress.com accounts, while still only having to keep track of one email account.
I’d suggest you change the email on your angelakwhitehorn account to an alias like that. That will free up the original name@gmail address so you can use it for this account.

Thank you! I was able to change the email addresses, just as you suggested. I even circled back and changed the “bad” account to a non-gmail address. Now, everything is as I would like it *EXCEPT* when I log in to wordpress using the “Continue with Google” button, it logs me in automatically to the bad account. How do I disassociate that bad wordpress profile from my gmail completely?

Did you change the “bad” account email to something different, or is it still the alias email address? The email alias may be confusing Google.
I would suggest logging out of WordPress, clear your browser cache and cookies and then try again to see if that will allow you to log into the “good” account using Google sign in.
You can also log in using the username and the password directly at https://wordpress.com/ using the Log In link at upper right.
