Merge two sites (connections)
-
Hi there, I recently migrated my site to a new host and in the process jetpack essentially created a second site (the staging server). Now that the site is live at the new host I have two jetpack sites (connections) the old one with the vast majority of my subscribers and stats and the new one. Only the new one is an active connection. How do I consolidate them both into one or at least get my data from the inactive site profile?

Hey @deweymoede,
The WordPress.com staff will be able to assist you with merging the stats and moving subscribers. I have added a modlook tag. Please hold while they respond.

Hi there,
With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.
That’s what happened on your site.
I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.
