Merginf two blogs in one

  Greetings!
  I have two separate blogs and would like to merge them in one. Also I’d like to change my plan to another. So my questions are:
  1) If I merge my two blogs wouldn’t there be a mess when people would like to refer from blog 1 or blog 2 posts to new one?
  2) Would my two blogs database be merged too so disk space would grow twice (according to the size of selected plan’s disk space)?
