Merging 2 WordPress Sites

  I had a developer that built my site and they used 2 different WordPress sites. I was told it is better to merge them for SEO. Is this true, and if so where can I find help to merge the 2 sites?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi –

  Thanks for getting in touch and checking in before making such a big change. Any change you make now is going to cause changes to your SEO performance. I think a better way to think about this is to approach it with that understanding and do what you can to limit the impact of those changes.

  Thanks for confirming! It looks like the two sites are using the free WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org, but they’re hosted with a different company than us here at WordPress.com.

  What that means is that we’re not really able to provide the most accurate advice for you regarding merging the two, since these forums are oriented towards helping with sites that we host specifically.
