Merging 3 blogs into one new one

Hello. Currently I have 3 WP blogs (payopo,yakadance, wyblypaintings). I’d like to transfer and merge the contents, followers etc of these three blogs to an entirely new blog entitled marioguerra.com and have the 3 current ones removed. Can it be done and if yes, how? The reason I’d like to do this is to be more efficient in my blogging and also to provide a one-stop blog for readers where they can find my three passions. Thanks for your answer. Regd’s, Mario

Hi, Tim. Thanks for your help. The imports of blogs wyblypaintings and yakadance into blog payopo are done.
Next steps:
1) import followers into payopo: do I need to do anything? let me know
2) I shall rename payopo to MarioGuerra.com (or similar if this doesn’t exist):
3) How do I have traffic to wyblypaintings and yakadance auto redirected to payopo?
4) I’ll host marioguerra.com outside of WP as a WP.org site: should I do this before step 3 is done?5) Thanks so much for your help.

I’ve almost imported my three blog contents to my new blog (marioguerrablog) @ bluehost. How can I get my followers now? And media content too? Thanks.

For now I moved all followers to your ‘payopo’ WordPress.com blog.
If you are planning to host your new blog elsewhere, please make sure you set up the Jetpack plugin so I’m able to transfer the followers to your self-hosted site. You can download Jetpack at http://jetpack.me or find it al ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add New’ in your blog’s dashboard.

You can set a (free) static front page to point visitors to your new site

That’s up to you, it’s not necessary to wait until you’ve done step 3.

If you import the export file you’ve got from the WordPress.com into your self-hosted site, you’ll get an option to import media attachments too. Make sure that your previous blogs are still online and don’t have a site redirect upgrade before going to this process.
