Merging accounts
-
Hi there. Our agency, Surprise Lake Camp opened a blog years ago under the name 143slc. That is the one we have used/publicized for several years. Now, we’d like our name to be surpriselake, to match our other online account names. That is an account that we already have (opened by one of our directors). How can we make our primary name surpriselake, but make sure that past posts at 143slc are also shown/imported?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re wanting to keep the posts for both surpriselake and 143slc and have them all show up on the blog at surpriselake.wordpress.com. I’d recommend exporting all the posts from 143slc and importing them to surpriselake.
Instructions to export and import can be found here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/Step by step instructions you can use:
1. Back up both blogs, just in case something goes wrong.
2. Go to https://wordpress.com/sites and select the 142slc site
3. After selecting that site, go to https://wordpress.com/settings/export/
4. Click Export All
5. Now, go to https://wordpress.com/settings/import/ and select the surpriselake site.
5. Beside the WordPress option, click Start import and Upload the file you exported.Hope that helps!
(Side note: Suprise Lake looks beautiful!)
