  Hello I would like to change this email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff), which is my other account that I never ended up using but it is my main email address.

  Hi there, if your mail email address is associated with another WordPress.com account, you won’t be able to update your current account email address with it unless you first change the email address of that other account to something else. https://wordpress.com/support/email-address/#issues-changing-your-email-address

  This won’t actually merge your accounts, if that is your goal. If you have sites on that other account, you can continue to manage them separately, or you could also transfer any sites to this account. That way you’ll be able to manage all your sites under one account. https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
