Merging My Profiles

  Hello, I paid a 3rd party to set up a WordPress blog/website in October last year. Today I was playing around with starting one myself and have inadvertently created 2 different WordPress profiles. Are you able to merge them together so that both sites will show under my one profile? The other website is thelgndlife.com

  as is probably already clear so I will need real clear directions!! Lol.

  Hi there:

  To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

  The site thelgndlife.com is not hosted with us – it’s hosted over at Bluehost using the WordPress software. Since we’re a separate company from Bluehost, there’s no way to “merge” your accounts – each website would have its own login information.
