Merging pages, losing comments?

  I’m trying to merge two pages into one, but I want to preserve all the comments. Is there a way to move the comments from one page to another? Or do I have to lose them?

  There is no automatic way to transfer page content or comments from page to page or for that matter from page to post. We used to be able to do move comments by using a manual copy and paste workaround. The instructions are found under “Moving Comments” in this article > WordPress.com Comments and Discussion Settings but a recent change to the commenting system may mean that we cannot do this now.
