Merging RSS feeds
-
Hi
we have done an RSS feed that combines RSS feeds from other blogs of our library and we put it on the blog with an RSS widget.
To do this we used Yahoo Pipes and it worked fine until a while ago.
We found that the pipe works correctly, we also tested alternative systems as Feedkiller. In both cases the merged rss channel works well in RSS readers, but not in the widget. We have noticed that although we put the address of the pipe in the widget (as we show in the picture) if you put your mouse over the widget’s icon appears the blog adress. This does not happen in other RSS Widget

Widget name: BLOCATECA: Els blocs del CRAI

I can see your RSS widget perfectly fine. Could you please make a screenshot of the RSS widget on the front page of your blog?.

Me again,
please forget this part of the first message:
“We have noticed that although we put the address of the pipe in the widget (as we show in the picture) if you put your mouse over the widget’s icon appears the blog adress. This does not happen in other RSS Widget”
Finally I’ve seen that there is a difference between putting the mouse on the icon or on the link beside. That works like other widgets so here isn’t the problem. the rest of the message is still valid

This appears to be sorted out. At any rate, when I visit your site, I no longer see the error message associated with the BLOGATECA feed. If you’re still having trouble, please let us know. Thanks.

yes, thanks, it seems that the feed works again
Since I had not done anything to fix it I was waiting a few days to see if it was final.
