Merging user profiles

I know a similar question to this has been asked several times before but I can’t find an answer to my precise query.

I have an admin account for four different WordPress ‘blogs (including the one associated with this post). This is one account, one login, for all four accounts. Great. I also have a separate user account (author?), associated with a fifth ‘blog (http://www.kidvinyl.co.uk/). Is there any way that I can merge this account with the other one?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes. You have to add the main username as an Admin of the single blog which is isolated from the others. http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#adding-users

Then you use this process to transfer the blog.

Username accounts are ever deleted but there are steps you can take that result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/ please note the following:

    1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.

    2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
    http://wordpress.com/#!/following/subsettings/

    3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:
    http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html

    4. While you cannot completely delete your Gravatar profile, you can remove all of your profile information easily through the “Edit My Profile” page here:
    http://en.gravatar.com/profiles/edit/?noclose#about-you

You can also hide your Gravatar profile from external access. Visit your profile page (click your name in the top navigation of the website), then click the “Hide My Profile” link in the bottom, right-hand corner.

Thanks; sounds like I need to have a word with the admin on that other ‘blog.

To be honest I would not merge these blogs. You are only an author on the other blog and I wouldn’t do this merging at all because logging in and out of two accounts is not big deal. I do it every day myself.

Well, it’s not urgent, just inconvenient when I do have to. Inconvenient to get someone to put in time on my behalf? Probably not, as you say. Thanks again.
