Message from x=hacker in page source

  I was using Bing Webmaster for site walkworthychristian.wordpress.com and saw this message ‘X-hacker: If you’re reading this, you should visit automattic.com/jobs and apply to join the fun, mention this header.’ Should I be concerned about this or is this really an advertisement for jobs?

  It’s just an advertisement. Automattic is the company that operates WordPress.com.

  Hi there,

  As @micawbr said, that’s something we put in there. Most people don’t ever look at the source code of a website, and those that do are for the most part web developers who might want to work with us. This is one of the way we have to tell people we have positions available :)
