Messages sent via contact page scrambled with code.

  Messages I receive via my contact page, forwarded to my gmail account appear as unfollowable hyperlinks wherein each word of the message is interspersed with %20.

  Any idea how I can correct this?

  It looks like you’ve added a website field instead of one for text.

  Try editing your contact form and removing the Message section you have at the bottom and replacing it with a text area. This should stop the contents being converted into a URL and display a larger box so users have an easier time of typing in their message.
