Messages via Contact Form not being received

I don’t think I am getting messages sent via my contact form. I tested it this morning and it appeared to work. However, I know someone tried to message me today and the email didn’t come through.

Statcounter is my source. Could anyone help? It’s happened before and I am worried messages are being submitted and not getting through.

Hi Daniel,
You can find all your messages from the Contact Form by going to Feedback > Feedback in your Dashboard. I have sent a test and was able to find it there.
As for Statcounter – please note that is not a produce of WordPress.com so while it may be stating certain things, I cannot confirm them from our end. If you received an email from us about a message via your Contact Form and you are unable to find it, please let me know. I’d be more than happy to take a further look.

Thank you every so much for your test email and reply. I received both and I have to assume everything is working okay. I’m very confused about the Statcounter submission. It does appear someone attempted to email me.
Is there any way of finding out if someone tried to email you but it failed as they typed in a false/incorrect email address?

I wouldn’t know about Statcounter’s tool as I’ve never used it. From what I see, I do see one Spam message, but that is all.
If you have a reader who states that they are trying to contact you, but you don’t see it, let me know and I’d be happy to take a further look. As of now, everything is working as it should.
