Hello there,
Happy to help you with this.
These look to be custom domains, can you tell me if you have purchased these outside of WordPress.com and if so, where were these purchased?
-
Thank you. I’m afraid I do not know.. I have never used wordpress before, I changed the two options I think in the redirect from its actual domain to one I wanted but didn’t have, now o can’t even login saying it’s too many tries….

Hello there,
Ok no problem, we can take things step by step..
I have never used wordpress before, I changed the two options I think in the redirect from its actual domain
Can you remember where this was done?
If it helps, if you explain the end goal you’re trying to achieve I can look to help you get there and sidestep any needless troubleshooting.
now o can’t even login saying it’s too many tries….
Where are you seeing this specifically? Is this when logging into WordPress.com?

I was at a client’s house and it’s his website, logged in and wanted to change the domain, there were two like textboxes (single row) with the current domain And I changed both to a new one, soon as I did that the page crashed.
Then I went home, tried to login and could not, getting the too many tries issue.

Can you confirm that you changed that under Settings -> General as shown here in this screenshot? https://d.pr/i/ZTxv3Y
If so, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.
Changing the domain for WordPress involves more than just typing that information in – you need to move the WordPress install to use the domain as well.
I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider for help as they need to update the website’s wp-config.php file back to what it used to be in order to undo those changes, which involves using FTP. If you’re not sure who the host is, you can enter the URL here to check: https://whois.domaintools.com/
I hope that clarifies things.

Yes it was exactly that. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you both for taking the time to help me, thank you.
I used the tool and it says URL names.co.uk can I take it further?

I believe so. If they’re not the host, they’ll be able to get you pointed in the right direction.
Best of luck!
