Meta and Footer Editing

Hello I am looking to edit the footer info. Right now I have it hidden because it says “”Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Nishita by Brajeshwar. Fonts on this blog.”
How do I edit this info to say my copyright info?
Also I am looking to add Meta Tags to each page, how would one edit that as well?

This is a multiuser blogging platform. We cannot access or edit any meta data. Here all blogs wearing the same theme use the same templates. We cannot edit themes or templates; only Staff can and every edit they make affects all blogs wearing the same theme.

May I remove the ‘Blog at WordPress.com’ credit in my site’s footer?
Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit.

This is crap! I though that this upgrade allows more customization. These are very important things people should and need to edit without jumping through hoops and using widgets.
So now when I go to hide the footer info through the “brilliant CSS customization capabilities” you guys offer google will actually penalize me for making text the same color as the background.
Just so I can hide the stupid footer info you guys put “universally” at the bottom for your templates. Thanks!

The support documentation is available to all so they can read it in advance of making any purchases of upgrades.

The fact you failed to read the support documentation or practice any due dilligence by contact Staff before purchasing an upgrade appears to be your own shortcoming.

The only thing “shortcoming” is this blog platform. You guys should state your limitations along with the benefits you get from upgrading. Not have people rooting through forums to find out what is what, and the fact that you guys do not have a customer support phone number blows me away.
I am designing this website for a gentleman that doesn’t understand website coding, but that seems to be what you guys specialize in; people that don’t know the wiser. WP should have these customizations available ESPECIALLY if you are allowing people to use their own domain in replace of your WP domain.
Maybe you could point me in the direction of a better more customizable blog platform for my next client?
