Meta Tag disappears after saving

Once I add the meta tag from pinterest and save changes, the information entered disappears. Should this happen or should the tag remain input in the appropriate area?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The tag should remain visible under Traffic Settings, and after adding it there should be an additional step where you need to verify it on Pinterest’s end to complete the process.
Your site is connected to WordPress.com using Jetpack, so I can’t access those settings directly to check from our end. Can you please make sure you’re pasting in the full verification code, including the arrow brackets? The code might be getting removed because our system thinks it’s invalid.
If you’re using any other SEO plugins like Yoast, it could also be that the other plugin is overriding the Jetpack module – in some cases Jetpack will automatically disable a feature if it detects another plugin that does the same thing, in order to avoid issues caused by duplication.
In that case, please see if disabling the other plugin makes any difference, or else use that plugin to do the verification instead of using Jetpack.
For more help with this, you can contact Jetpack support directly here:
