  how can i add Meta Description tag

  This is a multi-user blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture. We bloggers cannot access metadata.   That being said it’s of interest to note keyword metatags are not required for SEO purposes and Matt Cutts of Google has said that as far back as 2009.   Thank you timethief for putting this effort to my matter.
  My purpose is to mask my blog with my domain and both meta tags name and description are needed for forwarding. It was easy with meta name tag, since WordPress provides this option from tools. No doubt that WordPress does a good job with search engines. So, may a meta description tag already exist and I should ask WordPress to provide me.
