META Tags

  Hi. I generated some META tags to help build exposure to my blog. But I don’t know how or where to insert them.

  I used the link timethief gave me in her very helpful response to my last post.

  Meta tags are a no go at wordpress.com. You can confirm this by typing “meta tags” into the forum search box http://wordpress.com/forums/search.php?q=meta+tags http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=5088
  If you use categories and/or tags then know that they are picked up by search engines without any problems. That’s why you don’t need meta tags; the categories and tags we use here are treated the same way as meta tags. So all you have to do is make sure you use relevant categories and/or tags as you write your posts and you should be fine. :)

  I use to spend allot of time on meta tags with my Blogger blog. Then someone told me that meta tags are a dead issue and no longer relevant.
