Meta Widget

  I need to remove or delete the META widget from my webpage so it does not show the register or login. admin shortcut on the website and webpages info on the site

  Hi there!

  With some themes if you haven’t added any widgets to your sidebar, the theme will show a default set of widgets, which will not be listed in the Sidebar area. The Twenty Eleven theme has the Archive and Meta widgets listed by default if you don’t add any yourself.

  When you add widget to a sidebar the default set of widgets will no longer be used. Try adding a few widgets into the Main Sidebar widget area under Appearance -> Widgets to get rid of the default set.
