Meta Widget
-
Hi. Please assist.
I set up a new blog on my home computer. I cannot log in to the blog on my work computer because there is no meta widget. How can I add the meta widget to my blog so I can easily log in.If it is not possible to use the meta widget, do you have a suggestion for easy login access from the front end?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes! I was wondering the same thing. I set up two other WordPress blog and they had the option to add Meta widget. However, when I tried to create another blog, I noticed that the option to add Meta is gone. ???

Thank god I am not alone. I was editing my widgets and realised Meta isn’t there anymore.

Hello!
Since your blogs are in WordPress.com, you can log in them by following these steps:
– Access WordPress.com on your browser
– Click on Log InThen you’ll be able to access your site in My Sites at top left side of your screen.

Hello WP-fellows!
I am wondering the same thing. I want the meta-widget to show on my wp-blog all the time. My main reason for this is that my disabled students have a hard time finding the log-in function on their student-blogs elsewhere. Why has this widget disappeared from the widget area? -
Hi @petergunnebro, are your students able to log in by going to WordPress.com and clicking Login?

I’m trying to set up a new blog, and I can’t find a single theme that includes the Meta widget. I know a person can sign in to WordPress.com, but that’s several steps and clicks just to get to the same place that Meta goes in one. Please: give us this widget back!

@edithbogue we don’t use the meta widget anymore. If you’d like, you can create a text widget with a link to wp-admin.
