mew posts in home page

    hello,
    i’m using the Baskerville 2 theme, and i want that my home page will show the new 3-5 posts, and the gallery page will show all of the posts that i’ve published.
    how can i do this?

    Hi there,

    The only way to do this would be to set a static front page for your site, and then use the Display Posts shortcode to only show the five most recent posts on that page.

    Then you set the “Gallery” page as the posts page.

    However, the display posts shortcode will not show your posts using your theme’s styling – it will simply list the posts under each other and not in the grid layout your theme uses.

    Instead, you can just set the maximum number of posts that display on your site’s front page to 5 at My Site ->Settings ->Writing, and disable infinite scroll on your site on the same settings page. That way the first five posts will load, and additional posts will only load once someone clicks the Older Posts button, rather than automatically.
