Microsoft Word file, Clipboard transfer to wordpress, text rearranged, lost art.

I try to transfer a standard Microsoft Word 97 “word processing” file, with clip art in it, by using the Clipboard in Word. The file comes over, but not the clip art! Bummer! If i delete all clip art and make the file all text before the transfer, then your blog window sofware changes alot of my paragraph breaks, forcing smaller paragraphs into one longer paragraph! If I re-edit in your edit mode window, adding back the paragraph breaks, and then save it,some of the breaks come out right, but the software then decides to screw some other paragraphs up by melding them together. After a half hour of doing this on only a two to three page document, I give up and say I quit. I’d like to stay, but the time required to “fix” each blog i post is not looking good, and the decision to stay may already be decided for me. Bummer! (that’s sixties speak, Data-Chip.)

That’s because the clip art is still on your hard drive. You have to upload it to your blog. Cut and paste doesn’t work with images when going between computers.
Also try using the normal editor, not the rich text editor. You can make the switch at Dashboard -> Users -> Your profile -> uncheck the box at the top and save. The normal editor seems to work better with Word.

if you absolutely have to use word, save your file, and upload it to google documents: http://docs.google.com
after making sure it looks the way you want it to, use the publish button (top right) your settings should look something like this:

Hi , Whenever I’m free I write my articles in Microsoft word and KIV it. Then I copy and paste it on my web page. Why is that some words start appearing in bold ? I started to rearrange , it goes haywire. It’s absorbing alot of my time. It dosen’t appear how I arrange it ! Does that mean , I can’t do this way ? ( http://ndmpoint.wordpress.com )
