sorry I wanted to put what it looks like:
pspan style=”font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt”strongD. and some to be pastors and teachers, (Ephesians 4:11)/strong
/span/pp style=”margin-left: 36pt”span style=”font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt”Now we look at the final part of verse eleven. Just as the others, it was Christ who gave us our pastor-teacher. This office continues today in our churches. The question that arises here is whether or not Paul means pastors and teachers as separate or as one. I believe that this is one office because the “some to be” is not separating pastors and teachers.
/span/pp style=”margin-left: 36pt”span style=”font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt”The way this is written seems to put these two terms—pastors, teachers—into one category of gift. I have heard one say this: In order for one to be a pastor, it is necessary for one to be a teacher, but to be a teacher; one does not need to be a pastor. Is this an accurate statement? -
