microsoft word wont register my blog?

I’m trying to get this post up before tomorrow. I’ve typed it in microsoft word and cant copy and paste it because of problems with the footnotes. I’ve seen things online saying that if i look in settings i might be able to fix it with a remote publishing option. however i cant seem to find this option? can anyone give me some help on this issue?
