Microsoft's 'policing' of WordPress

I want to complain how Microsoft is ruining my contributions to the sports blog I write for. It used to be easy to add articles the blog. I would write an article in WordPerfect, copy the title into the title box and then copy the article into the body box. Then I would add media and tags.
But I upgraded my operating system to Windows 10. Now when I copy my article into the body box, the first paragraph is automatically changed into a different font from the rest of the article. Recently Microsoft forced a new set of upgrades on me. Now when I try to add an article, the task bars at both the top and bottom of the screen disappear making it impossible to switch between window panels. I used to add the title to my article first, but now when I add tags and the main part of the article, the title in the title box automatically gets erased and I have to reenter it. What am I supposed to do? It is getting almost impossible to add an article to the blog.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Even though I use some of their products, the bottom line is that Microsoft constantly tries to be a monopolist. It’s their way or the highway. They have been taken to court so many times for monopolistic practices, it is impossible to count. I never had any problem using Wordperfect to submit articles on WordPress until I upgraded to Windows 10 and then Microsoft put other “improvements” as upgrades. I found that Microsoft Word gives me less freedom of expression than Wordperfect. Microsoft also went over the line when they announced they would no longer support Visual Basic 6 and then sent “upgrades” around the world via the Internet to try and disable any products that had been built by people who had purchased their product. They think they can do anything to anybody and get away with it.

    Hi ericthephantom,

I would write an article in WordPerfect, copy the title into the title box and then copy the article into the body box. Then I would add media and tags.

I wanted to drop in and found out more about your workflow for publishing content. Posts can be typed directly into the WordPress.com editor and saved as a draft while you work on them — is there anything you feel is missing from the editor that prevents you from doing so?

Now when I copy my article into the body box, the first paragraph is automatically changed into a different font from the rest of the article.

If this happens when you copy the text into the editor here, it’s most likely invisible styles being carried over. They can be removed using the Plain Text button on the editor:

    Microsoft Word

If this is something you feel strongly about, I’d recommend contacting Microsoft directly.
