Migrate Amazon Store to WordPress with WooCommerce
-
“I’m at my wit’s end here trying to move my Kindle ebook catalogue over to a new WordPress site with WooCommerce. I’ve spent hours going through Amazon’s inability to provide any kind of straightforward data export for their ebook platform. It’s incredibly frustrating that as a seller, I have no easy way to extract the metadata, book files, pricing, etc. for the dozens of ebooks I have listed.
I’ve tried using some code snippets I found to scrape the data, but they’re all outdated and nothing works with Amazon’s current site setup. I don’t have any technical coding abilities beyond basic web skills.
Has anyone else gone through this painful process of manually recreating each and every ebook product listing one by one to migrate from Amazon to WooCommerce? It’s unbelievably tedious having to copy/paste things like book titles, descriptions, categories, author info, etc. across platforms. Not to mention trying to reupload all the actual pdf/mobile files for download access.
I’m at the point of just giving up on leaving Amazon’s walled garden because this migration seems impossibly difficult for a non-technical seller like myself. But I really want to have more ownership and control on the WordPress side.
What are my options here? Has anyone used a third-party migration service for Amazon ebooks that doesn’t require basically rebuilding every product listing? I’m happy to pay for something that works, rather than keep banging my head against the wall. Thanks!”

Hi there! Sorry to hear about the problems you’re having.
It sounds like a frustrating experience. To help you look into this in more detail, can you provide us with the address of the website you’ve been trying to import content into from Amazon?
Thanks in advance!
