migrate content to wordpress.com

  • Unknown's avatar

I understand what I have to change. Don’t you think I have done this 400 times already?

    NS1.wordpress.com – 192.0.80.93
    NS2.wordpress.com – 69.174.248.148

WordPress is blocking my nameserver changes, this is the problem. Nor godaddy neither 1api.net are able to control this.

They said this is something you have to allow. You know much better than me so please don’t be lazy and do your job cause I have paid for this to wordpress.

    Hi Luca,

I have sent you an email to the address which we have on file. Please go ahead and check that account, the message should be waiting for you now.

  • Unknown's avatar

I have received the refund. Thank you.
However you keep saying that there is nothing you can do, read the email I got from godaddy.

    Dear Customer,

It appears the the nameservers are failing the nameserver check at the registry. nameserver check failed========================== CONFIGURATION =========================ZONE : cloudstoragenews.it.NS The nameserver list doesn’t match the given one: The given nameserver list (ns1.wordpress.com., ns2.wordpress.com.) is: not consistent with the one retrieved from the zone: (ns1.wordpress.com., ns2.wordpress.com., ns3.wordpress.com.).you will need to resolve this issue
with your hosting company as these are not our servers. These are worspress servers. You will need to contact wordpress for assistance with the server issue.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
    Kindest regards,
    ccTLD Team

    Hi Luca,

I am checking again to ensure that everything is set up correctly on our end, and am also checking again with some of our developers to have them double check as well. Once I hear back from them I will let you know if we find anything.

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi Luca,

I have heard back from our developers and they have verified that everything is set up correctly on our end.

They did point out that some domain TLDs (including many country-code TLDs, and .it may be one of them) very specifically require that you use the nameservers that are specified in the zone file.

You have previously mentioned that you tried to enter ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com. As I have sent, we have three nameservers and you should try to enter all three of them:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

I finally succeeded in changing nameservers. However my site cloudstoragenews.it is down now.

    Can you please assist again?

it’s urgent, I need it back thanks

  • Unknown's avatar

It appears that you deleted your blog 3 weeks ago. During the deletion process you are warned multiple times that the deletion process is permanent and that we cannot undelete a blog.

If you’d like, I can remove the mapping for cloudstoragenews.it from this blog and can re-map it to some other blog in your account.

  • Unknown's avatar

yes I deleted cause I thought this problem wasn’t going to be fixed, but it has been.

Now you can map again…I just want to make sure my url will always be http://www.cloudstoragenews.it.

Also, what other site are you going to map it to?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi Luca,

I have sent you an email to the address which we have on file for you. Go ahead and check that account whenever you have a moment.

  • Unknown's avatar

I only received an email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) from your engineer. To which email did you send it?

  • Unknown's avatar

I only received an email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) from you with nothing attached.

  • Unknown's avatar

oh I see the site cloudstoragnews.it now live but it’s not how it was supposed to be?

Do I need to replace all content again?

  • Unknown's avatar

Yes, you will indeed need to replace any content which was present previously. We have no record of any content which you had previously had on this site, if any.

  • Unknown's avatar

this is going to take me ages. the site was big and all the content is still in Wix. Do you know any fast way to migrate all content?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have an idea…can I keep the site running on wix (putting the nameserver back) while I transfer all content into the new wordpress site cloudstoragenews.it?

  • Unknown's avatar

I need a way to communicate with you that is faster…emails are too slow. Have you got a phone number?

  • Unknown's avatar

No, we do not have any phone number. There is currently chat available, if you would like to log in to your account’s Dashboard, you should see an option for chat in the lower right hand corner. One of our chat agents should be able to answer any of your questions.

In regards to Wix, I do not believe that they offer any means by which to export your contents from their site. So that means that you would need to manually create any pages which you want. I apologize for the inconvenience.
