I assume the blogger has to have the Jetpack plugin installed and activated on the self hosted site first, but I’d like to confirm whether or not Staff have to do the moving of subscribers in cases like this one. -
@timetheif, people can migrate their own subscriptions from WordPress.com to a Jetpack-connected site on WordPress.org :
http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/Right now they can’t move them back here on their own, though, so we’ll take care of that for them if they have a Jetpack connection. And I’d already verified there was one in this case.
